It gets a proper cruiser look with fat 18-inch tyres, and ape hanger handlebars
Australian electric startup EMoS (Electric Mobility Solutions) has revealed an electric cruiser named Wyld. The single seat electric cruiser blends minimalistic styling with chunky tyres and looks outrageous. The lack of a fuel tank is compensated by an unconventional frame that holds a battery pack. The single seater cruiser features large fenders, round lights and ape hanger handlebar. Modern bits come in the form of all LED lighting and a digital instrument console tablet.

You can choose from 3 available hub-mounted electric motor options: 1.5kW, 2kW and 3kW. Max speed is capped at 50kmph so yes, it is pretty slow for its size. Another surprising fact is that the electric cruiser weighs just 82kg. It gets a removable lithium ion battery pack that takes around 5 hours to fully charge and offers a range of 90km.

Suspension components include 18-inch alloy wheels, telescopic fronts and two shock absorbers under the single seat. It gets disc brakes at both ends for better stopping power.

With the single seat, no storage space, low top speed and limited range, the Wyld electric cruiser is a lifestyle vehicle at best. It is expected to cost AUD 2,999 (approximately Rs 1.61 lakh). Will the Wyld electric cruiser come to India? Given that the Australian bikemaker makes niche electric transport solutions, we highly doubt it will.
