The bike has also reached dealerships now
Bajaj Auto has launched the 2024 Bajaj Pulsar N160 with an inverted fork for a price of Rs 1,39,795 (ex-showroom Mumbai). The bike, along with the Bajaj Pulsar N150, was recently updated with a new digital instrument and now the manufacturer has gone a step further and brought in an inverted fork as well.
The new inverted fork comes with a golden finish and it does look quite nice. Additionally, the bike has also received a new set of graphics which look quite stylish. The old N160 with the telescopic fork is likely to still continue being sold at the old price and once stocks are depleted, it will be replaced fully by the new model with the inverted fork.
Like mentioned before, the bike has now received a new digital instrument console with smartphone connectivity. The console displays call/SMS alerts along with regular readouts like speed, tachometer readings, fuel level readings, trip meter and odometer readings.
The left hand side switch gear has also been revised and now features a new button to navigate the console.
With the addition of the inverted fork the Pulsar N160 has seen a Rs 7,270 hike and the bike now costs Rs 1,39,795 (ex-showroom Mumbai). Interestingly, that makes it more expensive than the bigger (and more exciting) Bajaj Pulsar 220F, which for perspective comes at a price of Rs 1,38,560 (ex-showroom Delhi).
Other than the addition of the inverted fork and new graphics, the bike hasn’t seen any changes made to performance or underpinnings. The bike is still powered by the same 164.82cc air-/oil-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 16PS and 14.65Nm.
The Puslar N160 goes up against other 160cc bikes like the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Yamaha FZ-S Fi V4 and Suzuki Gixxer.
