This is by far the sportiest-looking scooter from Hero
[UPDATE: Hero has finally launched the Xoom 110 . Full details in our launch story]
Just hours ahead of its official launch Hero Maestro Xoom 110 has been spied at a presentation and here’s what the 110cc sporty scooter looks like.
While we already knew that the Maestro Xoom 110 would employ a sporty design language, a closer look at the picture shows a slight resemblance with the Hero Vida V1 electric scooter, particularly on the side panels and seat design.
The headlight is a sporty LED unit with an X-shaped LED DRL, mounted on the fascia. It also takes inspiration from the Maestro Edge and the sportiest 125cc scooter, TVS NTorq 125. The earlier teaser has already shown us the headlight will have a cornering function.
The tangy orange colour and the stylish alloy wheels elevate the sporty appeal of the scooter. The alloy wheel design debuted in the Hero Vida V1, and this is the first petrol-powered scooter from Hero’s lineup to adopt the new design. Even the grey muffler guard looks quite attractive. Moreover, Hero MotoCorp has teased several other aspects of the scooter including the secondary apron-mounted LED DRL, which could be a part of the cornering light system, MRF Nylogrip Zapper tyres, front disc with Bybre caliper, and LED tail light with bulb indicators
The powertrain is expected to be the same 110.9cc engine as the Maestro Edge that makes 8PS and 8.7Nm. Apart from that, the Xoom 110 will come packed with quite a lot of other modern features, the details of which you can read here.
The Hero Maestro Xoom 110 is expected to be priced around the Rs 75,000 (ex-showroom) mark, and will rival the likes of the Honda Dio and TVS Jupiter ZX SmartXonnect.Stay tuned to BikeDekho.com as we bring you all the details of the scooter in just a couple of hours.
