EXCLUSIVE: Matter Trademarks 9 Names In India; 1 Could Be For Its Electric Bike

From the chosen monikers, it is unclear which would be used for the newly unveiled electric motorcycle

Ahmedabad-based EV manufacturer Matter recently unveiled its first electric motorcycle in India. However, the EV maker has yet to reveal the name of the electric bike, despite having trademarked a total of nine names in India.

Quite fascinatingly, the names that have been trademarked by the company are ‘Air’, ‘Earth’, ‘Space’, ‘Water’, ‘Light’, ‘Fire’, ‘Ether’, ‘Sound’ and ‘Thunder.’ All names were filed on August 5, 2022, and they have been ‘accepted and advertised.’ What does that mean? Well, it means that the government authority has accepted and listed them in the trademarks journal.

What needs to be noted is that the aforementioned trademarks are listed for a variety of products and components, and not just electric two-wheelers or four-wheelers.
