Fantic, an Italian bike maker, has unveiled the Caballero 500 Explorer at the EICMA 2021. Earlier available in Scrambler, Flat Track, Rally and 500 Anniversary Edition, the company has now expanded its Caballero range by introducing the Explorer variant.

The Caballero 500 Explorer gets a tall and rugged stance. The scrambler motorcycle also features a round headlight, high-mounted fender, handlebar-mounted mirrors, a single-piece seat, an underbelly pan, raised dual-tip exhausts, spoke wheels and Michelin Anakee Wild tyres.

Other notable features on the Caballero 500 Explorer include a saddle bag, tail rack, and a side-mounted number plate.Powering the Caballero 500 Explorer is a 449cc single-cylinder Euro 5 engine that churns out 40.55PS and 42.03Nm. This engine further comes mated to a six-speed gearbox.



Similar to the Rally version, the ride of the Explorer variant is taken care of by a long-travel USD fork at the front and a monoshock unit at the rear. Meanwhile, for braking, it employs a 320-230mm petal disc setup further assisted by Continental dual-channel ABS.

The Caballero 500 Explorer is showcased in a White/Bronze colour option and is likely to arrive in the European market by early next year. However, the Italian brand is yet to reveal its prices.
