Final Version of the KTM 1290 Super Duke R Spied

Here are the first clicks of the final production version of the 'beast' named KTM 1290 Super Duke R. Motorcycle enthusiasts around the world have been waiting for a peep of the final model of the bike and finally an online French magazine managed to capture spy pictures of the bike.

The bike was proposed with a prototype at the 2012 EICMA and a couple of days ago, the company announced to launch the bike in October 2013. As we told you earlier, the company dedicated a website for the launch of the bike, which shows the upper profile of the production version of the bike along with the time remaining in the launch. The website contains a video of the bike ridden on the track. However, you can't figure out the bike clearly in the video.

Spy pictures show both the front and the rear of the bike, which is looking quite similar to the prototype. The bike has the same profile with all the parts at their places. The paint job is looking different but the typical Orange paint on the chassis of the brand remains unchanged. The other things, which were not shown in the prototype are head-lamp, rear view mirrors, licence plate holder, tail-lamp and blinkers. The seat used in the prototype was similar to the company's super sport bike 1190 RC8 R, which can't be successful with a naked roadster. So the main changes in the final version are the seat and the exhaust tail pipe.

The KTM 1290 Super Duke R will be the most powerful naked roadster with a 1290cc V-twin engine churning out around 185bhp. With the latest electronic control and safety systems, the bike is going to rock the new year in the world of motorbikes.
