Firefox to unveil ‘Kompac’ Bike at Delhi Auto Expo

Firefox the official transport provider for the Delhi Auto Expo’s officers on duty will display its full range of products at the Auto Expo. Currently the company sells 40 models in India and is official distributor of US based Trek Bikes in India. The company is planning to unveil its latest model ‘Kompac’ at the upcoming event next year in January. The 26-inches foldable new bike Kompac will be available at a price of Rs 8,840. Shiv Inder Singh, Firefox Bikes Managing Director said that Kompac is being introduced for a specific niche segment of bikers who love to go off-road and explore the adventure of mountains but find difficult to carry it. Firefox will also display its extensive collection of bikes and cycling accessories this year to woo budding cyclists. Having it's retail outlets in Delhi, and NCR, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Kerala, Pondicherry, Indore, Pune and Udaipur Firefox plans to open 20 more new outlets in the country in 2010. The company aims to develop biking culture in India by introducing high-end sports bikes like MTBs, ATBs, BMX’s and Road Bikes which will have light weight alloy frame with disk brakes, multi-speed and dual suspension features. TVS Apache and Bajaj Pulsar are among the popular bikes in India.
