FMSCI Racing Championships Round 4 to be Held on 5th & 6th September

The fourth round of the MMSC (Madras Motor Sports Club) FMSCI (Federation of Motor Sports Club India) Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship is scheduled to take place on September 5th and 6th at the MMRT in Chennai. Simultaneously, the fourth round of MRF MoGrip FMSCI National Supercross Championship will also be held on the same dates in Hyderabad. Almost 100 riders will take part in each of the two events.
There will be a total of 20 races in the MMSC FMSCI Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship. The highlights of the event will be Group B (Open) category, Group C (Open) category, Group D (Novice) category and the one-make championships held by Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha and TVS. Yamaha and TVS are new to this arena and have only joined the championship in the previous round. In the Group B (Open) class, Harry Sylvester of TVS Racing, Rajini Krishnan of Moto-Rev Yamaha Racing and Jagan Kumar from TVS Racing will fight for the championship lead. The Group C (Open) category will witness Ananth Raj of Kingdom Racing India who is leading Sumit Lucas Toppo of Prolap Racing with 95 points. However, there will be a competition between Sumit, Shyam Shankar of Thunderbolt Racing and Mathana Kumar of Ten10 Racing who are close to each other on the points table. Kannan K of Yamaha Racing is topping the Group D (Novice) category leading Aravind B of United Tech Racing.

In the MRF MoGrip FMSCI National Supercross Championship, KP Aravind, Tanveer AW and Rugved Barguje will be the riders to look for in the competition, they also participated in Asian Super Crosses held in Sri Lanka and UAE. The juniors are not much behind, there is a new event named Junior SX for the riders below the age of 15. The list of events in MRF MoGrip FMSCI National Supercross Championship consist of SX 1 - Foreign Open, Group A, SX 2 - Foreign Open, Group A, Junior SX - Open to Group A/B/C/D, Indian Expert Class - Group B, Indian Expert Class - Group C, Expert Class - Group C and Novice Class - Group C.
