GoZero To Launch Two e-Bikes In India

GoZero has tied up with Kolkata-based Kirti Solar to manufacture e-bikes in India
- The company will launch two new e-bikes - One and Mile - by April.
- GoZero will also be launching a range of products other than e-bikes in India.
- The One is powered by a 400Wh battery and has a claimed range of 60km.
GoZero, a UK-based electric mobility and lifestyle brand, has announced that it is set to enter India soon. But while the company had announced that it will launch two new e-bikes - the One and Mile - by March, we expect the bikes to roll out of the company’s showrooms in April. GoZero has tied up with Kolkata-based Kirti Solar to manufacture the e-bikes in India. The latter has also invested around $250,000 (around Rs 1.7 crore) in GoZero Mobility.
The Mile, which is positioned as an entry-level e-bike, is powered by a 300Wh battery and has a claimed range of 45km. The One, on the other hand, is powered by a bigger 400Wh battery and offers a claimed range of 60km.
Features on the Mile include a USB port, LCD display, three riding modes (throttle mode, pedal assist mode and walk mode) and disc brakes at the front. The One gets some additional bells and whistles such as an extra riding mode (cruise mode), 5-level pedal assist, disc brakes at both ends and a backlit display. The company is yet to announced the prices of the e-bikes. So stay tuned for more updates.

GoZero Mobility (UK) Announces it's Entry into Indian E- Vehicle Market
New Delhi 20th March 2019: GoZero Mobility, a British electric bike & lifestyle brand is announcing its expansion into the Indian market. Designed to shock the industry, GoZero One is powered with 400Wh lithium battery pack which is optimized to provide 60 Kms of range on single charge & GoZero Mile is powered with 300Wh lithium battery pack which provides 45 kms range. Both are specialized performance e-bikes providing optimum stability and comfort and come with multi-modes of operation giving users freedom to choose the way of riding – Throttle, Peddle Assist, Cruise Mode, Walk Mode and Manual Peddle.
GoZero will also be launching its signature range of lifestyle merchandise designed in the UK, which includes Tees, Sweat Shirts, Jackets, Belts, and Wallets etc.
On expansion into the Indian market, GoZero Mobility CEO, Ankit Kumar said “With the significant focus by the Government of India towards Electric Mobility especially 2-wheelers, we see this as an appropriate time for us to be here.
