Harley-Davidson Low Rider S and CVO Pro Street Breakout Debut at X-Games

Though it is staying away from the Auto Expo, but Harley-Davidson has other plans to keep its fans happy and is introducing new models at regular intervals to make its portfolio even better. Opting for X Games, one of the world’s biggest gaming championship as the platform, Harley-Davidson unveiled its two new models CVO Pro Street Breakout and Low Rider S at the event.
Starting with CVO Pro Street Breakout, this bike is a true example of what happens at the workshop of Harley Custom Vehicle Operations. In fact, this bike has been designed by the custom house and is a limited run special edition motorcycle. It has got Screamin’ Eagle Twin Cam 110B which will replace the 130B that was introduced with the regular Breakout. Keeping the same ergonomics, the custom house equipped the machine with Screamin’ Eagle Heavy Breather Elite air Intake Kit along with a new custom paint job, hand-painted gold stickering, shiny custom wheels and a new headlight shroud.
The other machine unveiled at the event is the Low Rider S. Being which is a new addition to the Harley’s Dyna lineup. It is going to be the first non-CVO machine to get the Screamin’ Eagle Twin-Cam 110 engine that generates a peak torque of 156Nm (as per claims). A removable cover is added around the headlights along with drag style handlebars and slashed down fenders. The entire body of this machine is differentiated by three kinds of blacks- matte, glossy and satin and the only part that has not been given a black finish are the matter gold custom wheels. The add-ons fitted by the custom house in the Low Rider S are electronic throttle control as well as the cruise control.
Recently, Harley-Davidson launched its 1200 Sportster Custom in India on 28th January with a starting price of Rs. 8.90 lac (ex-showroom, Delhi). This custom machine has been equipped with 1,202cc, evolution, air-cooled engine that has been linked to a five-speed transmission and keeping ABS as standard.
