New photo confirms the roadster’s top variant will feature the Tripper pod as standard

[UPDATE: Royal Enfield has launched the Hunter 350. Full details in our launch story]

As Royal Enfield gears up to launch the new Hunter 350 on August 7, the highly anticipated motorcycle has broken cover on the Internet. This is the first clear view of the Hunter to emerge and at first glance, the motorcycle looks cool.

In these fresh images, the Hunter 350 is seen wearing a retro-modern garb with colour combinations that bring a mix of what we’ve seen on both the Scram 411 and the Himalayan

In fact, this Himalayan Lake Blue style paint scheme on the Hunter was also recently seen at a dealership. This Metro rebel variant also sported the Tripper navigation assist, which currently is offered as standard only on the Classic 350.

The second bike in the background sports the ‘Dapper Grey’ colour which will be a part of RE’s MiY customisation program. This colour has some similarities with the ‘Downtown Drag’ paint scheme offered for the Interceptor 650.

Over the past two months, the Hunter 350 slowly teased our curiosity with the test mule only breaking cover a couple of times. Each viewing offered a little more information on what to expect from the upcoming roadster.

In one sighting, a Hunter test mule was seen wearing touring accessories, and in the next, it became clear that the upcoming roadster will be offered in three variants. While it was initially thought that the Hunter will give the tripper pod a miss, thanks to the latest picture, it is clear that the bike’s top variant will get it as standard.

The Royal Enfield Hunter will be the third motorcycle apart from the Classic 350 and Meteor 350 to be built on the bike maker's ‘J’ platform. Have a look at this recently leaked type-approval document to know about the upcoming Hunter’s specs

The Hunter 350 will be Royal Enfield’s lightest and sportiest 350cc motorcycle and we also expect it to be one of its most affordable models with an expected asking price of Rs 1.7 lakh (ex-showroom). The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 will go up against the Honda CB350RS and Jawa 42 2.1.
