As Delhi struggles with one of the worst cases of air pollution ever, Mavox has launched two new helmets equipped with an activated carbon filter that the company claims can filter out up to 93 per cent of the pollutants.

Carbon filters are generally found in household equipment like air purifiers and water filters. Mavox could be the first brand to use this feature in a helmet. What’s interesting is that the filter is washable and can be used again. However, the company hasn’t revealed the shelf life of this filter yet. There are two variants of the helmet on sale: the FX30 Max (Rs 2,565) and FX30 Max D1P (Rs 2,999).
