Hero Duet and Maestro Edge Launching Tomorrow, Official Video Inside

The country’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer - Hero MotoCorp had earlier sent invites for the official launch for its two “heroes” scheduled on September 29. We are just one day away from witnessing the arrival of its two new scooters - Hero Duet and Maestro Edge in the nation. The much-awaited machines were first showcased at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo and had created a huge amount of hype due to their impressive and some first-in-class features, since then. Recently, the official brochures of two vehicles got leaked ahead of their launch which had made the masses admire them even more due to the decent specifications.

Hero Duet is a bold and manly offering from the maker that will directly challenge the segment leader - Honda Activa. The scooter has been loaded with a 110.9cc, four-stroke, air-cooled engine that generates a net power of 8.43PS at 8,000rpm with a maximum torque of 8.30Nm at 6,500rpm. Hero Duet is blessed with some game changing features like external fuel fill with buzzer, combination lock, digital analog instrument cluster, under seat storage light, mobile charging port and much more.

The scooter will be available at six attractive colours namely Panther Black Metallic, Nature Green Metallic, Matt Vernier Grey, Grace Grey Metallic, Candy Blazing Red and Pearl Silver White and is expected to be priced somewhere around Rs. 50,000 (ex-showroom).

The second scooter is the Maestro Edge which gets a stylish body design with eye-soothing aesthetics. Powered by the same 110.9cc engine, the scooter gets almost the same features as the Duet along with a fascinating LED tail lamp and a next gen engine immobilizer. Hero Maestro Edge will be available at the dealerships in a wide range of colours like Pearl Silver White, Panther Black, Shooting Night Star, Candy Blazing Red, Techno Blue, Matt Vernier Grey and Matt Blue.
