Hero Honda Motors Limited has increased the prices of its products ranges by up to Rs.1000 from 1 June, 2010, due to the hikes in price of raw materials, tyres and Rubbers. Hero Honda Senior Vice-President (Marketing and Sales), Anil Dua said," We have recently taken a burden of increased commodity costs so we have to pass some part of costs to the customers. The company has also not taken any price hike due to commodity costs since August, 2008. Hero Honda's two premium segment models such as Hero Honda CBZ and Hero Honda Hunk would be increased price by Rs. 1000, other bikes will see a Rs 500 hike, he added. Therefore, the company's flagship models, Hero Honda Splendor and Hero Honda Karizma will not be costlier from the Hero Honda. However, Anil Dua said, the company is believing to improve this type of situation in the coming months. Apart from that launch, Indian bike lovers will see more launches in India that includes Yamaha SZ, Yamaha YZF R125, Honda VFR 1200F etc.
