Hero Honda increased sales of 2.28 percent in August 2010

Hero Honda Motors Limited, India's major two-wheeler giants, has increased sales of 2.28 percent to 4,24,617 units of two-wheeler in the month of August 2010 from 4,15,137 units in the same month of previous year. The company has also reported the higher sales of more than 4,00,000 units per month during this current fiscal year. Anil Dua, Senior Vice-president (Marketing & Sales) of Hero Honda Motors, said, "The domestic two-wheeler industry remains buoyant and Hero Honda expect growth to maintain this trajectory in the coming months. Hero Honda Pleasure has also been sold over 27,000 units during the last month in the Indian auto market.
The company's most selling motorcycle like Hero Honda Splendor, Karizma, Hunk and Deluxe getting excellent response from the Indian buyers and as per their potential offering outstanding performance in the Indian auto market. Hero Honda has launched an refresh version of its most selling motorcycle, Hero Honda Super Splendor on 2 Sept. 2010 in the 125cc segment. The new Super Splendor has been developed with latest BS-III emission norms and ahead generation features which makes it stylish and great fuel efficient bike in the country. The company may expand their new products range by the launching new bikes in the coming festive season.
