Hero Honda Ties-up With Wolff Olins For Brand Building

Hero Honda has signed up an agreement with global brand specialist Wolff Onlins to give the world largest two-wheeler maker a new look. It is a open truth that Hero Honda is a joint venture between Hero Group and Honda Motor which is officially parted ways. Now Hero is to build its own identity hence hiring Wolff Olins which would work on the company's new brand identity, including brand architecture, brand name, brand logo and brand positioning. Hero Honda will finally be splited in 2014 and then only the new changes for brand building would take place.
Hero Honda is the world's largest two-wheeler maker that came in the frame in 1984; its popular products include Hero Honda Splendor, Hero Honda Passion, Hero Honda Pleasure, Hero Honda Karizma ZMR, Hero Honda Hunk and Hero Honda CBZ Xtreme, etc. Now this JV is broken, the Hero Group will have to pay total 26 per cent stake's value to Honda.
Hero Honda has already announced that after complete walk over from JV it will enter into foreign market by launching new bikes. The company would enter in African and South American market. Noted that Honda Motors is already present here in India with the name of HMSI. HMSI is doing well in India and includes 110cc to 1000cc bikes. The company prepared its platform in India before rising it's competitor Hero. It includes Honda Twister, Honda Shine, Honda Unicorn, Honda Dazzler, Honda Honda CBR 1000RR etc popular bikes in its portfolio.
