Hero Honda to achieve 5 million sales mark

Hero Honda, India based and the world's largest two-wheeler maker is going to touch the five million bike sales mark in March, 2011. After achieving this 5 million mark, the company is well set to leave behind its competitor Bajaj Auto. If the company touches this mark, it will be another milestone for the company and a historical record.
Hero Honda is the joint venture between India based Hero Group and Japan based Honda Motors which has been split. And the company will finally separated in the year of 2014. But after announcement of the split between the companies, Hero Honda bikes are getting buzz response from market.
At present, Hero Honda is selling lots of bikes in India consisting of all segment. The Popular Hero Honda bikes are Hero Honda CD Deluxe, Hero Honda CD Dawn, Hero Honda Splendor, Hero Honda Passion Pro, Hero Honda CBZ Xtreme, Hero Honda Hunk, Hero Honda Karizma etc. Among these popular bikes, the Splendor and Karizma are the flagship models of the company.
Hero Group wants to get it's top position in the Indian two-wheeler market and has announced new bikes under its solo brand name. And the company hopes that it will be capable to get good position in the market because it has long experience and wide network across India.
On the other hand, world's second largest two manufacture Bajaj Auto has targeted to dominate Indian two-wheeler market. Meanwhile TVS Motors, HMSI and Suzuki also in this race with their flagship bikes and upcoming attractive bikes.
