Hero Karizma Revival Gets A New Name

Hero Karizma XMR Name Trademarked; Iconic Bike To Make A Comeback Soon

We recently reported that the iconic Hero Karizma will be making a comeback in a more modern avatar. The upcoming bike now has a name, and it could be called the Karizma XMR or Karizma XMR 210 as trademarks for both have been filed recently.

The XMR name could be a nod to the ZMR series of the Karizma and also, it would align with Hero’s new premium bike lineup, in which all bikes have a name that starts with the letter ‘X’, including the XPulse and Xtreme series.

While there isn’t much known about the upcoming bike, we do know it will get a 210cc liquid-cooled engine. Reportedly, the new motor should produce around 25PS and 30Nm and will be mated to a six-speed gearbox. It goes without saying, the upcoming Karizma will most likely be a fully-faired bike.

Once launched, the Karizma will go up against the Suzuki Gixxer 250, Bajaj Pulsar RS200, and the Bajaj Pulsar F250.
