Choosing from 6 different colour options can be quite daunting. We try and make it simpler

The last of Hero’s BS6 updated scooters has finally broken cover on its website, and it’s the Maestro Edge 110 BS6. To help tell it apart from its predecessor, Hero has splashed on some new colour schemes and stuck on some fresh graphics. There’s now 6 paint options available, so join us as we take a closer look at each one.

Panther Black

You can’t really go wrong with a black colour scheme, especially when it’s paired with red stickering. It might not be to everyone’s liking, but coupled with swathes of white on the fork, body panels and mirrors, this is a well-balanced and smart-looking paint option.

Pearl Fadeless White

At the opposite end of the spectrum is this white paint option. Normally, white is a pretty bland and boring choice, but once again, the stickering saves the day. In this case, the contrast offered by the blue and grey graphics actually liven up the scooter's appearance quite a lot and this is a good choice.

Candy Blazing Red

On a Ducati or a Ferrari, yes. Definitely yes. But on a 110cc Hero scooter? Eh, we’re not quite so sure. If you must have a scooter in this shade, you’re better off with an Aprilia or a Vespa, because red isn’t the best fit for the Maestro.

Seal Silver

Quite unexpectedly, this silver grey colour scheme is one of the best looking paintjobs not just on the Maestro but on any scooter in the country. It’s helped in no small part by the beautiful yellow and blue stickering on the body panels.

Techno Blue

This isn’t a particularly bad colour scheme, but it isn’t very special either, especially when compared to some of the other options available on the Maestro. The simple sky blue and gold/cream look might appeal to some, but it’s not a guaranteed head-turner at traffic signals.

Midnight Blue

If you really want your Maestro in blue, then this is the option to go for. The forward portion of the scooter is finished in a similar light blue metallic shade but as you move to the rear, the bodywork is dominated by grey and black. Throw in some contrasting red accents, and you have a recipe for success.
