Hero MotoCorp has unveiled a lot of new products at the EICMA 2024 including the Hero Karizma XMR 250, Xtreme 250R, XPulse 210 and the Vida Z electric scooter. However, the Indian bike maker also had the updated Mavrick 440 at its EICMA stall. The bike features a new colour scheme, an inverted fork, and a new TFT console.
What’s New?
The updated Hero Mavrick 440 made its EICMA debut finished in a glossy paint scheme with black graphics. The new look is complemented by the addition of a golden inverted fork from the Harley Davidson X440 which makes it look sportier and more muscular. However, the overall design of the bike stays the same as before.
The flagship Hero bike also skipped its horizontal LCD instrument console and featured a new vertically placed TFT console from the Harley Davidson X440. However, it has a different layout and different theme to stand out from Harley.
What’s Unchanged?
The mechanical and hardware components of the bike remain the same as before. The Mavrick 440 is still powered by the 440cc, air and oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine that makes a peak output of 27.36PS and 36Nm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch.
Expected Launch Date and Price
The updated Mavrick 440 is likely to make its way to the Indian market very soon; it could be launched at the 2025 Hero World Event, early next year. We expect it to be priced at around Rs 10,000 to Rs 12,000 more than the existing Mavrick 440 which costs between Rs 1,99,000 and Rs 2,24,000 ( ex-showroom Delhi).
