Hero MotoCorp enters 2012 on a positive note

The world's largest two-wheeler manufacturer Hero MotoCorp is reaching new heights in production and sales every year. Hero MotoCorp has kept its leadership by selling around 5 lakh vehicles every month. Hero MotoCorp started the year on a good note in 2012. This company sold around 5.2 lakh vehicles in January 2012, and repeated the same trend of sales figures in February 2012. They have sold 5,23,465 units in February 2012, which is even better when compared to January 2012 sales. This year in February 2012, Hero MotoCorp had a growth of 11%, when the company compared it's sales in 2011 February. The company sold about 4,72,055 units in 2011 February.
There is a considerable increase in cumulative sales, Hero MotoCorp from April 2011 to February 2012. During this 1-year period, Hero MotoCorp, the cumulative sales have risen to 57,06,905 units. This means that company have already overtaken the sales what it has made in the year 2010 and 2011. Hero MotoCorp have registered a growth of 16.7% , with sale of 5.7 million in cumulative volume. Hero MotoCorp is also planning to expand its business to automatic scooters. Hero MotoCorp Maestro will be soon hitting the Indian bike market. Maestro will be available in six different colors in the market, harvest green, blazing red, panther black, pearl white, force silver and electric blue. And is suppossed to be priced around Rs. 44,000 (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
As the deal with Honda came to an end, Hero MotoCorp has got an new partner now. They have partnered with American bike making company Eric Buell Racing (EBR). Eric Buell Racing will be helping Hero MotoCorp in designing building new bikes. Hero MotoCorp is also planning to buy some stake in Eric Buell Racing company.
