Customers can exchange their new Hero scooter in the next five years and avail a cashback of up to 60 per cent!
- The offer is limited to Hero MotoCorp’s scooter range for now.
- Customers will get an assured buyback certificate from CREDR, a used two-wheeler retailing company.
- For now, the program is operational only in Pune, Bengaluru and Delhi.
India’s biggest two-wheeler manufacturer, Hero MotoCorp, has introduced a buyback offer for its range of scooters. The new offer lets owners sell their new Hero scooter in the next five years and avail a cashback of up to 60 per cent on its original ex-showroom price.
Called the BuySurance program, customers will also get a guaranteed buyback certificate from used two-wheeler retailing company, CREDR, on the purchase of a new Hero Pleasure, Maestro Edge, Destini 125 or Duet.
For example, if you buy a Hero scooter worth Rs 50,000 (ex-showroom) and return it within the next five years, you can avail a maximum buyback benefit of 60 per cent on its ex-showroom price, i.e Rs 30,000. It must be noted that the buyback value will depend on various factors like the condition of the two-wheeler, distance covered, etc.
To claim these benefits, customers only need to reach out to their nearest Hero dealerships along with their scooter and buyback certificate. The program, which was initially introduced in Pune, is now available in Bengaluru and Delhi as well. Based on the response it receives, Hero might expand the scheme to other major cities soon.
Speaking of scooters, Hero is set to add two new offerings in India - the Maestro Edge 125 and the 2019 Hero Pleasure. Read all about the two scooters here - Hero Maestro Edge 125, New Pleasure To Launch On May 13.
