It will likely be powered by the Karizma XMR’s 210cc, liquid-cooled engine

Hero MotoCorp has revealed a teaser of what looks like an ADV scooter and has also confirmed that it will be unveiled at EICMA 2023. We think the scooter will be a concept rather than a full-blown production version.

From the teaser, we can gather that the scooter gets a true-blue muscular adventure-themed maxi scooter styling with a sharp-looking front-end. It will also come with a twin-LED headlight setup, along with all-LED indicators and tail light. It might also get a keyless feature based on one of the shots from the teaser. Expectations-wise, it might get the Karizma XMR’s 210cc, liquid-cooled engine as we can clearly see the radiator in the teaser. In that case, the to-be unveiled offering from Hero will be a powerful ADV-style maxi scooter, similar to the Honda ADV 160 sold abroad. Also, it should get disc brakes at both ends. It also gets a long seat with probably a large underseat storage area and a luggage rack at the rear

Hero patented a maxi-scooter design a few months ago and in there, we saw a telescopic fork and twin rear shock absorber suspension setup. We expect the upcoming maxi-scooter concept to get that hardware as well, as seen in the teaser as well/ .

The Hero adventure scooter is still some time away from production, and if Hero manages to bring it to the market, then it will likely be downsized to 160cc. It'll then be the perfect ADV-themed scooter alternative to the Yamaha Aerox 155. Also, Hero might be unveiling a new single-seater variant of the VIda V1 Pro as during the electric scooter’s launch, the manufacturer said that the platform is flexible enough to accommodate various design changes.
