The XTec treatment gives the Pleasure Plus quite a few fancy features
Hero has launched the Pleasure Plus XTec at Rs 69,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It’s the latest two-wheeler from Hero’s portfolio to get the XTec tag. But what difference does it make?
The most important one here is the provision for smartphone connectivity. The 110cc Hero scooter now gets a new Bluetooth-compatible dash that displays incoming/missed calls as well as incoming messages. It’s a bit rudimentary as the company has skipped the turn-by-turn navigation system.

Apart from that, the Hero Pleasure Plus Xtec also gets a new LED projector headlamp which is claimed to be 25 percent brighter than the bulb unit. Hero has also added new chrome bits for added aesthetics and a pillion backrest for more comfort. The Jubilant Yellow colour is exclusive to the Pleasure Plus XTec trim and looks rather refreshing. Not to mention, the front fender is now made of metal for more durability.
Everything else remains unchanged. You get the same 110cc motor dishing out 8.11PS and 8.7Nm. The underbone chassis is suspended on the telescopic fork up front and a monoshock setup at the rear, the same as the standard model. The braking setup has also been retained and the 10-inch wheels too remain unaltered.
All said and done, the Pleasure Plus XTec variant costs Rs 7,600 more than the base LX trim and Rs 3,100 over the Platinum edition model. The premium is a bit high considering you only get a revised headlight and an altered console. However, the Hero Pleasure Plus XTec still offers more value than its foes like the Honda Activa 6G and the TVS Jupiter.
