The mobility solution provides a plethora of information straight to the dedicated mobile app

Gone are the times when only the motorcycles from the million rupee club had smartphone connectivity. From scooters to commuter bikes, this feature has found its way into the unlikeliest of vehicles. After TVS, Hero MotoCorp is the newest player to join the club with its mobility solution-- Hero Connect.

With the help of a dedicated app, Hero Connect offers various safety and security features along with ride statistics like speed alert and trip analysis. It also offers an interesting parameter called Driving Score, which gives a score based on your riding behavioural pattern.

The safety feature includes a topple alert that sends an app notification to the registered number as well as emergency contacts if the system detects that the vehicle has toppled. With the help of GPS, the app displays real-time tracking information or sends a notification in case of unauthorised movement. The app uses Google Maps to save the bike’s last parking spot as well as for the Geo-Fence Alert feature.

Hero MotoCorp has launched the Hero Connect at an introductory price of Rs 4,999. The price will shoot up to Rs 6,499 after a while. Currently, the Hero Connect is available for XPulse 200, Destini 125 and Pleasure Plus
