Hero seeking support from UK, Austria and Italy

Hero Honda, the World's largest manufacturer Joint venture between Japan based Honda and India's Hero Group has parted way long back that will finally end in 2014. Honda has its Indian arm here in India named HMSI. The news here is, Hero Group which is operated by Munjal's family wants to re-branding of its two-wheelers with reliable technology as present bikes and it is talking to companies of UK, Austria and Italy. Hero Honda is known for Hero Honda Splendor, Hero Honda Passion Pro, Hero Honda Karizma.

Hero Honda group will be split in the 2014 by acquiring 26 per cent market share of Honda. Both the companies has come to an agreement and according this agreement Hero group may get the technical support from Honda till 2014. And Hero wants to make itself brand; so it is in talks with 4 to 5 auto parts makers for supply.

Hero Group is in talks with Austrian AVL and UK based Ricardo for transmission Joint Ventures for the parts. Meanwhile, Italy based Cosmo and Engine Engineers can support Hero for body contouring and engine. Hero Group might purchase auto parts or will make a venture with this firm.

Hero Group is willing to make it's vehicles pure and Bharat Stage 4 technical norms completed vehicles as well as reliable. With the aim of launching reliable and good performer vehicles, Hero Group wants to spread its wings in overseas market including Africa and Latin America. The Hero Honda Splendor and Hero Honda Passion which will be in bags of Hero Group might be exported by the company.
