Thankfully, the new hike is relatively low with a maximum increment of Rs 500
- This is the second price hike for Hero MotoCorp in four months.
- Constant surge in prices over the past couple of months have made Hero vehicles dearer by up to Rs 1,800.
- Hero has also increased the price of the Destini 125 BS6.
Hero MotoCorp has once again increased the prices of select products. This is the second price hike for the brand in a span of just four months. This time around, it’s Hero’s cash cow, the BS6 Splendor Plus and the Pleasure Plus that have become dearer. If that wasn’t enough, the Hero Destini 125, which received the biggest price bump last time around, has become even more expensive. Listed below are the new prices versus the old one and the difference between the two.
Hero isn’t the only manufacturer to increase prices over the past couple of months. Pretty much every other brand including Bajaj, TVS, Honda and Suzuki have increased prices of their products. We believe the constant price hikes are a result of the BS6 transition and ever-increasing material costs. It should also help two-wheeler manufacturers bounce back from the low sales volume in the past year or so, especially in the last couple of months.
On a slightly different note, Hero is yet to announce the prices of the XPulse 200T and Xtreme 200S which are expected to be launched soon.
