Hero to launch CBR250R Rival HX250R SportBike Soon

The leading Indian two-wheeler brand- Hero MotoCorp Limited (HMCL) has unveiled its flagship sport bike- HX250R in India. Featuring a slim agile seating position, high-tech engine and world class sport chassis, the full faired bike has all the attributes to deliver the perfect light weight sports bike experience. Along with all these characters, the bike gets an under seat exhaust, which has been never seen before in the respective segment in the Indian market.

With its high performance 249cc, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, 4-valve, DOHC single cylinder engine and advanced multi-sensor electronic fuel injection, Hero HX250R can deliver best-in-class performance of 0-60kmph mark in mere 2.7 seconds, while also being refined and fuel efficient around town. With aerodynamic styling, this new motorcycle comes packed to delight every passionate sporting rider with best in class power output of 31bhp. Six-speed transmission and lightweight mass centralized chassis make the motorcycle incredibly responsive in all riding conditions.

The HX250's geodesic tubular chassis integrates the engine as a stressed member, and allows full control of its modern 17” sports bike wheels with Pirelli Sport Demon tyres. The entire package results in spectacularly good handling and stability for riders of every skill level. Telescopic forks of 37mm diameter holds the front wheel, while the rear gets a 5-step adjustable pre load single shock suspension arrangement with aluminium swing-arm. When it’s time to stop the riding fun, you can trust the linked brake system featuring powerful Brembo design hydraulic callipers gripping the 300 mm front and 220 mm rear brake rotors. For the discerning riders, the HX250R also comes with an optional latest ABS technology.
