Hero unveiled Dash, Dare and ZIR at Indian Auto Expo

Hero Motocorp along with the dashing bollywood superstar, Ranbir Kapoor unveiled three premium scooters at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo. Hero Dash, Dare and ZIR are the new introductions by the company, which will cover 110cc to 150cc segment of the scooter market.

Hero Motocorp Dash is boasting a 111cc, forced air-cooled, 4-stroke cylinder, OHC engine. The company has tailored its current scooter Maestro brilliantly and has created a whole new scooter that is sportier and flaunts lots of exciting features. The features of the scooter that are unique are Key with E-Code, Fuel Lid opening by Key and Dual Moulding Key. Equipments that make it a premium scooter are Analogue digital meter, USB mobile charger, boot light, LED tail light, service due indicator and side stand indicator.

Hero Motocorp Dare is powered with a 125cc, forced air-cooled, 4-stroke cylinder, OHC engine. The mill is tuned to generate the maximum power of 6.8kW and the top torque of 9.5Nm. Mostly targeted towards the men out there, the manufacturer has used dual tone body color, telescopic forks, dual-tone alloy wheels, sporty textured seat, LED day light, fully digital console LED tail light and body painted brake caliper. The company has also kept some utility features standard for this scoot, which are side stand indicator, mobile phone charging socket, pass switch and boot light.

Hero Motocorp ZIR is a loaded with a whole new liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, single cylinder, OHC engine with the displacement of 157.1cc. The engine produces the maximum power of 10.5kW at 8500rpm with the peak power of 12.7Nm at 7000rpm. The key highlights of the scoot are integrated hydraulic braking system, dual projector headlamps, digital plus analog console, tubeless tyres, Day running lights, LED winkers, integrated pillion handle, step seat, smart phone integration, flower type disc brakes.

Hero Motocorp will bring these scooters to compete with the scooters like Vespa 946 and Piaggio Liberty that were the recent unveiling by Piaggio at the auto Expo.
