The updated iteration is likely to be powered by the Hero XPulse 200 4V’s engine
The facelifted version of the Hero XPulse 200T has been spotted for the first time. Seen at a commercial shoot, the bike could be launched next month. While the Hero XPulse 200 has been quite popular among enthusiasts, the XPulse 200T didn’t enjoy as much spotlight. Hopefully, the updated iteration (likely to be called the Hero XPulse 200T 4V) should help the bike gain better traction.
In its latest avatar, the XPulse 200T features a small fly screen that gives off neat retro vibes when paired to the circular LED headlight and the new gaiters on the blacked out fork. The latter also makes the bike’s fascia look more muscular.
More importantly, Hero is likely to equip the updated bike with the same powertrain as the XPulse 200 4V’s four-valve, air-cooled engine with an oil-cooler. So expect other bits like the larger oil-cooler and reworked gear ratios to be carried over here as well. In the ADV, the motor makes 19.1PS and 17.35Nm and the figures should remain the same in the XPulse 200T as well.
The underpinnings, including the telescopic fork, rear monoshock, 17-inch alloy wheels with street tyres are likely to be carried over. That said, we hope Hero MotoCorp tweaks the suspension as we found the setup in the current model to be on the firmer side. Oh, and expect Hero to throw in new funky colour schemes as well.

With the updates, expect Hero to ask a premium of around Rs 6,000-7,000 over the current model’s sticker price of Rs 1,24,278 (ex-showroom Delhi). The facelifted XPulse 200T will go up against the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, and the Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise.
