It could be a retro roadster based on the Harley-Davidson X440
For 2023 Hero is all set to launch a brand new motorcycle, likely based on the Harley-Davidson X440. And we have received a Block Your Date for February 15 and 16, 2024.
Given that it is based on the Harley-Davidson X440, the bike will likely be a retro roadster and could be called the Hero Hurikan 440. It could be powered by the same 440cc air-/oil-cooled 2-valve single making 28PS and 38Nm. However, the tuning could be a little different.

The most interesting bit will be how Hero prices the bike. While the Harley-Davidson X440 costs Rs 2,39,500 (ex-showroom), this upcoming Hero bike could be more affordable, priced at around Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom).
Now you might wonder: If it is based on the same platform as the X440, how could it be more affordable? Well, Hero could make some changes to the underpinnings and hardware. But for now these are speculations.
Lastly, if Hero does launch this bike and that too at a more affordable price, then it will be the perfect rival to the Royal Enfield Classic 350.
