Since they were showcased at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo, many Indian enthusiasts have been eagerly waiting for the Hyosung GD250N and GD250R. However, DSK is not bringing these machines to our market any soon. During a conversation, Mr. Shirish Kulkarni, Chairman, DSK Motowheel told us that they are not launching any of the GD250 motorcycles in India this year. But a new cruiser from the Korean automaker is in the way, which can be launched by the end of this year.

Mr. Kulkarni also told that they are working on bringing the new Hyosung bikes with aggressive pricing, like they have done with the Benelli Superbikes recently. So, before the GD series, we are going to get another Korean Cruiser. He didn’t reveal any spec of this upcoming motorcycle, but the company might reveal it soon.
Currently, DSK Hyosung has a fleet of 6 motorcycles including sport bikes- GT250R, GT650R and GT650N along with cruisers- Aquila 250, Aquila Pro (650) and ST7. All these motorcycles are sold in the Indian market via CKD route and come with best-in-class features. So, our expectations are already high with the upcoming Hyosung cruiser, and we will hope that it will get a reasonable price tag as well.
