With just ten days left for the start of India’s biggest biking festival, riders from all over India are gearing up to ride to majestic Goa for the great migration. But unlike previous years, the festival is no longer in Vagator but is now going to be accommodated at the Arpora Sporting Ground on the Anjuna – Baga road in Goa.
India Bike Week (IBW) is set to take place on the 19th & 20th of February this year and is going to have around 12,000 bikers in attendance. Besides being India’s biggest biking festival, IBW is scheduled to have many new events and new biking celebrities this year.
On the cards are: a Moto trials show featuring international sensation Dougie Lampkin, a Hard Enduro race and will also have Dakar rally star CS Santosh in attendance. There also is a first ever film festival going to take place and a crazy line up of bands performing like MIDIval Punditz, The Other People, Thaalavattam, Soulmate and many more.
As always, the popular events like the Bikini Bike Wash, Custom Bike Buil-off, National Stunt Championship, Vintage and Classic bike Concourse and the Big Trip tent will all be happening this year too.
