Shell Lubricants - one of the world's leading lubricant manufacturers have recently introduced Advance Ultra 15W-50 engine at the 2016 India Bike Week. The product aims at big capacity motorcycles and has been launched at a price of Rs. 1,050 for a one-litre pack. The oil will be retailed across the country through the stores and distributors and will also be available for online sale at Amazon.com.

Shell Advance Ultra comes with Pure-Plus technology that has a revolutionary gas-to-liquid conversion procedure. The method involves the conversion of gas to base oil that delivers high performance to the engine. The engine oil was launched in the presence of Nitin Prasad, MD, Shell lubricant India, Indian wrestler Sushil Kumar and Akhil Jha, Vice President, Shell India. On the occasion, Nitin Prasad stated, "The heavy bike segment has witnessed an upward trend in the country. With India developing into a potential hub for premium superbikes, there is a great opportunity for a lubricant brand like shell to bring technological expertise to this segment. With this in mind, we are happy to launch Shell Advance Ultra 15W050, out premium oil formulation for the heavier bike segment. You can now keep your bike's power loss close to zero with Shell Advance Ultra."

Talking on the product further, Akhil Jha said, "Shell Advance Ultra does not degrade between oil changes, thus not letting the engine efficiency plummet and preventing any power loss. This claim based on Shell's internal test data using Honda Wave 125 motorcycles measured at first 1000th and 13000th km mileage coverage, with extended oil change interval of 6000km."

2012 Olympic silver medal winner, Sushil Kumar gave his opinion and said, "Shell Advance Ultra does not degrade between oil changes, thus not letting the engine efficiency plummet and preventing any power loss.
