Indian Bike Makers To Bring Premium Bikes

Indian bike markers are now ready to enter in premium bike segment with class leading products. All the companies are trying to launch their 250cc and above engine loaded bikes in the market. The demand for entry-level sports bikes is increasing with high speed so now all the domestic bike makers are ready to come up with their 250cc bikes. Honda CBR 250R launch will open the competition in when it will be launched in April this year.
At present, only one CKD bike Kawasaki Ninja 250R is available and getting buzz response by the customers. Meanwhile, above 2500 units of Honda CBR 250R has been booked. The bike will be launched in the month of April this year. The company hopes to sell 30,000 units of the bike in the first 12 months after the launch. After seen this revolutionary growth in the premium bike segment, another domestic two-wheeler makers such as Bajaj Auto, TVS, Yamaha, Suzuki are interested to bring their bikes in India.
The Kawasaki Ninja 250R assembled at Chakan, Pune plant of Bajaj is selling 40 to 50 units per month while Bajaj Pulsar 220 is getting buzz response from market and now Bajaj is ready to bring Bajaj Pulsar 250cc and KTM Duke 200. Apart from that, Yamaha will launch a 250cc bike and Suzuki has also shown interest to introduce Suzuki GW250 in India.
Mahindra two wheelers, the new entrant in two-wheeler segment will also launch a 300cc bike - Mahindra Mojo. But Hero Honda would continue with its popular bike Hero Honda Karizma. And 2,500-3,500 units of the bike is being sold per month by the company.
