Indian Motorcycle Gets Its First Female Customer in India

The exotic cruiser bike manufacturer - Indian Motorcycle recently handed over the keys of its masterpiece to their first privileged female customer in the country. Sanyukta Gupta, who is a photographer by profession gained the possession of an Indian Scout yesterday at the company’s flagship store in Bangalore. The wildfire red colour of the bike complimented the choice of the lady even more. Indian Scout can be owned at a price of Rs. 12 lac (ex-showroom, Delhi), which makes it a “not everyone’s cup of tea” affair.

Indian Scout comes loaded with a 1,130.7cc, liquid-cooled, V-twin engine that cranks out a peak power of 100bhp along with a maximum torque of 97.7Nm. The closed loop fuel injection system offers a crisp throttle response with superior power delivery. For braking, the bike gets 298mm rotor disc brakes with twin-piston calliper upfront and with single piston calliper at the rear. As for features, Indian Scout comes equipped with a robust rounded headlight and split dual exhaust with crossover at the rear end.
