Both bikes come packed with fascinating features and premium hardware
Italian bikemaker MBP has officially entered India at Auto Expo 2023 with the unveil of two bikes. The new brand is being brought to India by Adishwar Auto Ride and will be sold here through Benelli and Keeway dealerships. MBP, standing for “Moto Bologna Passione,” is a small Italian marque that sells alongside Keeway bikes in Europe.
The first bike that MBP has unveiled is the M502N, a 486cc twin-cylinder naked streetfighter. It belts out a healthy 50.95PS and 45Nm, along with a claimed top speed of 160kmph. Interestingly, this engine is quite similar to Honda's 500cc platform. We also hope its engine tune is similar to the 500cc Honda bike.

Apart from the naked, MBP has also unveiled the C1002V, a true-at-heart cruiser ready to go up against the Harleys in India. With a 997cc liquid-cooled V-twin mill making 93.87PS and 102Nm, the C1002V is not just powerful but also looks quite dashing, with a muscular body design.
Very interestingly, both MBP bikes come equipped with IoT (internet of things) technology with GPS and their own internet connections. This means that the bikes flaunt features such app-based connectivity without the need of Bluetooth. The MBP app gives riders tools such as movement sensors and auto shutdown to deter thefts, and a panic button.
The launch timeline of the bikes have not been disclosed yet but we expect them some time later this year, with premium price tags.
