Jitendra EV Primo S And Primo Plus E-Scooters Unveiled: Bigger Battery And Longer Range

The Primo Plus claims a longer range than the Bajaj Chetak!
Jitendra EV has unveiled two variants of its Primo electric scooter, called the Primo S and Primo Plus, the prices of which will be announced at a later date. They are positioned above the standard variant, which is priced at Rs 79,999 (ex-showroom, India).
The entire Primo range is powered by the same 1kW motor but the new variants have bigger batteries which offer a longer range, and a claimed top speed of up to 52kmph. Below is the breakdown of each variant’s specifications:

Both the variants have the same underpinnings as the base Primo variant: telescopic fork, single rear shock, 10-inch wheels, front disc and rear drum brake with regenerative braking, and a 14.28-litre underseat storage.
The Primo S and Primo Plus have a digital instrument cluster that shows speed, estimated range, and error warnings. They also have a basic features set that includes LED lights, USB charging port, reverse assist, and overheating alert.
The electric scooters rivalling the Jitendra Primo range are the likes of Ampere Magnus EX, Okinawa PraisePro, Hero Electric Atria, and Kinetic Green Zing.
