Biking culture is growing at a full pace in the country nowadays and people in India are going on high mountain peaks and various terrains with friends, colleagues etc. However, riding thousands of kilometers with your father can be a real delight and a boy Khiyar Pasha has experienced it taking the longest route covering almost every possible state of India. Khiyar, a biker at heart and a riding enthusiast rode from Kanyakumari to Kashmir (K2K) with his father in 4 weeks and created a milestone. Besides this, he has also completed Golden Quadrilateral Solo Ride.
The duo started their journey from Guntur in Andhra Pradesh and reached Hyderabad covering Chennai-Kanyakumari-Bangalore-Mumbai-jodhpur-Wagah Border-Srinagar-Ladakh and Delhi. Mohammad Mahmood Pasha, father of Khiyar Pasha opted for Royal Enfield Classic 350 while Khiyar Pasha himself chose Hero Karizma R.
Khiyar had a love for bikes since his childhood and he started riding after learning how to handle machines from his father. In his early days, he was not allowed to drive in any gears higher than the 2nd gear. However with time Khiyar honed his skills and was able to handle the machine at higher gears this gave him a sense of freedom and he realised this is what he wanted to do for rest of his life.
Before planning for this trip from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, the duo did a lot of preparations so that the expenses during the trip do not exceed their budget, besides deciding on the route they had to take and planning purchase of riding gears and spare parts. They also underwent several health checks. While their bikes were properly tested before the duo hit the roads, as the entire journey involved many challenges.
