You’re now going to have to fork out more money for Kawasaki motorcycles. The Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer has hiked the price of almost its entire lineup for the first time this fiscal year, perhaps due to rising material costs. Price hikes range between Rs 6,000 to Rs 15,000, depending on the model. Here’s a breakdown of the new price list:
The litre-class Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10, launched at an introductory price of Rs 14.99 lakh, has now gone up to Rs 15.14 lakh, a hike of Rs 15,000. Both the Ninja 1000SX and Versys 1000 cost Rs 36,000 more than last year.
The Z650 and Vulcan, which have been positioned as middleweights, witness a bump of Rs 6,000 each. This now makes the Triumph Trident 650, priced at Rs 6.95 lakh, seem like a compelling option. It also makes more sense since it has an extra cylinder, more power, better rider aids, and super grippier Michelin Road 5 tyres.
The new prices will be effective from August. So, if you are keen on getting a Kwacker for yourself, we suggest you hurry up and book one before the month ends.
