From an electric monkey bike to family scooters, the Komaki range has a wide spectrum of buyers in mind.

Komaki Electric has expanded its already extensive portfolio with the launch of two high-speed e-scooters, the TN-95 and the SE, and an e-motorcycle, the M-5. The TN-95 is targeted at buyers looking for an electric scooter for their family, the M-5 e-motorcycle is designed for the youth and the SE to suffice all age groups. The TN-95 uses a lithium-ion battery and offers a range of 100-180km (claimed figures) in one full charge. It features an all-LED headlight with DRLs, three riding modes, USB mobile charger, Bluetooth speaker, anti-theft lock, parking/cruise control, reverse assist and a top-box for added storage space. Braking on the TN-95 is done by a disc and drum setup with ABS as standard. The TN-95 is sprung on a telescopic fork and a monoshock. The Komaki SE e-scooter and the M-5 electric motorcycle will also feature a detachable lithium-ion battery with a range of 100-120km. Komaki hasn’t revealed any innard specs for the three models but we expect that in the coming month. The Komaki M-5 competes against the Revolt RV400 and you can read our first ride report of the latter here.

Pricing for the TN-95, SE and the M-5 has been set at Rs 98,000, Rs 96,000 and Rs 99,000 respectively (ex-showroom Delhi). Talking about high-speed electric scooters, our team spent some time with the exciting Ather 450X and came back with a grin. Read our review of the Ather 450X here.
