With the official unveil of KTM’s 390 Adventure and 250 Adventure nearing closer and closer, the excitement is rising to ever higher levels. To help quell this impatience, we’ve got an important little piece of news regarding the unveiling and colour schemes for these two bikes.
The wait is almost over, because both bikes have been confirmed for an unveiling at 2019 EICMA next week. We have also learned that the much-awaited 390 Adventure will get a signature KTM orange colour scheme as well as a white option too. Meanwhile, the KTM 250 Adventure will be offered in orange as well as in black. With KTM’s press conference at EICMA now just a couple of days away, we don’t have to wait too much longer to see exactly what these motorcycles will look like. Stay tuned on BikeDekho for updates as the show progresses.
Both models will share engines with their Duke counterparts but we expect state of tune and gearing to be altered to suit the dual-purpose nature of the bikes. A 19-inch/17-inch front, rear alloy wheel combo will be offered, along with long travel suspension at either end. Both models will be launched at India Bike Week in December, and we expect a price tag of around Rs 3 lakh for the KTM 390 ADV and approximately Rs 2.5 lakhs for the KTM 250 ADV. Once launched, both bikes will fill a large void in the Indian market, sitting between the Rs 1.81 lakh Royal Enfield Himalayan and the Rs 3.49 lakh BMW G 310 GS.
