KTM 390 Adventure To Be Unveiled Tomorrow At EICMA

The much awaited model could have its India launch at IBW next month

We’ve been waiting with bated breath for KTM to bring us the 390 Adventure, and it’s been a long journey full of mysterious spy shots and speculation. Thankfully, the journey is almost at an end, with KTM all set to unveil the production-ready 390 Adventure at its EICMA stall tomorrow. We expect this to be followed by an official India launch at the 2019 India Bike Week next month.

The 390 Adventure will be unveiled in two colour schemes: there’s absolutely no doubt that it will get an orange option, but it will also be offered in white as well. It will share its engine with the 390 Duke but we expect the state of tune and gearing to be altered to suit this bike’s dual-purpose nature. The motor will also be updated to conform to Euro 5/BS6 emission norms.

To enhance its off-road capabilities, the 390 Adventure gets long-travel suspension at both ends, and rolls on a 19-inch/17-inch front-rear alloy wheel combo. Ground clearance will be generous and a sump guard will be present as well. KTM will also offer various accessories, chiefly luggage in the form of side panniers and perhaps a top box as well.

Alongside the 390 Adventure, KTM will also unveil its smaller sibling, the 250 Adventure, which will also make its way to India. This bike based on the 250 Duke will serve as the entry point into KTM’s Adventure range. We expect the 390 Adventure to be priced around Rs 3 lakh while the 250 Adventure should cost approximately Rs 2.5 lakh. Follow BikeDekho for prompt updates from the 2019 EICMA motor show.
