Before the bike recall was started, both the companies got two crash reports which are directly related to the front wheel spoke breakdown. Both the accidents resulted in substantial injuries to the rider but one of them got seriously injured with broken ribs and a shoulder injury.
These recalled machine from KTM were sold in three colors Orange, Black and White and featured the brand logo on both sides of fuel tank shrouds while the Husqvarna motorcycles were sold in Blue, White and Yellow and the sports company's logo was on the both fuel tank shrouds. Both the companies had engine size and the model name printed on the both side of the rear fender which can be seen just below the pillion seat.
The KTM and Husqvarna motocross machines will feature the letter “G” at the 10th position in the vehicle identification number (VIN). The VIN number can be seen at the right side of the steering head tube.
