These models have been known for being value for money, but that has now taken a massive hit
The year 2021 hasn’t been too kind on KTM fans, and the barrage of price revisions are to blame. First, there was a minor price hike in January followed by a major one in April. And now, we have the third hike of 2021, and probably the biggest one for most KTM and Husqvarna models. Check out the latest prices in the table below:
The price hikes are nothing short of shocking. The 125s have crossed the Rs 1.70 lakh mark, while the 390s are now tantalisingly close to the Rs 3 lakh mark. Even the once ‘value-for-money’ Husqvarnas have raced past Rs 2.10 lakh.

Given that no changes have been made to the bikes, we feel the hikes are pretty steep and unjustifiable. The only possible explanation we can think of is for the RC 390, which is set to receive a major overhaul soon. This hike could be an attempt to bridge the gap between the 2021 KTM RC 390’s price.
The only model to get a nominal hike is the 250 Adventure, which has gotten more expensive by just Rs 512.
We think these increments will only further hamper the already unimpressive sales figures of KTM and Husqvarna bikes.
