KTM, the outstanding two-wheeler manufacturer from Austria, has almost made itself famous in India by shaking hands with the domestic giant, Bajaj. Its first launch, Duke was also a smashing success in the country. Seeking a great welcome in the country, the bike maker launched another high powered version of Duke, which was also able to grab a good response. Now the company is quite stable in the market and are going to bring two new machines of same power as Duke stream. But this time, Duke bikes will be more attractive and pleasing as they will be looking like supersports bike. Enhancing the craze of its bike among the people by altering the looks of the bike will be profitable for both the customers and the manufacturer. The reason behind it is that customization will not cost much and will assist bike maker in keeping the price low which would ultimately, lure more enthusiasts.
KTM RC 200 and RC 390 are faired motorcycles that will be soon competing with the other bikes in the range below Rs. 2.5 lakh. Along with the competitive and affordable price tag, the high capacity of RC 390 will enable it to compete with the other segment bikes or expensive bikes like Suzuki Inazuma 250 and Kawasaki Ninja 300, which are expensive but less powerful than RC 390. Technology of KTM's offering is also quite impressive as KTM is a well known brand and will not compromise with technology in any case. Being a superior product plus having a low and affordable price tag, RC 390 will be able to attract a good number of buyers easily and will also be able to snatch the market shares from its competitors.
KTM RC 390 is a racing machine that is highly robust in both, looks and power. The bike has been designed fantastically with the overall fairing and sharp edges, tubular space frame made from steel and the full digital display. The bike maker has just covered the front part of the bike smartly and has turned it into a more impeccable machine. Just like KTM Duke 390, the bike also comes incorporated with a single-cylinder, 4-stroke, water-cooled engine that displaces 373.2cc. The mill has been mated with the six-speed transmission and is able to churn out the maximum power of 43bhp. This makes it the most powerful machine in its segment and price range.
To make KTM RC 390 more superior in ride-ability, the manufacturer has fitted 300mm disc brake with four-pot brake caliper at the front wheel and 230mm floating disc brake with one-pot brake caliper at the rear wheel. Comfort of the bike is claimed with the equipment of WP suspension Upside down at the front and WP monoshock suspension at the rear. The bike has a fine weight of 147kg with the total fuel tank capacity of 10 liter, which is quite less. The bike is a true performer that does not lets down its rider. Its quite obvious that there is good possibility of the bike to become the market leader with these specifications and price.
