KTM is going to unviel production version of its RC390 at EICMA (Milan Motor Show) after 10 days. But now you don't have to wait for the 5th November, because images and details of the KTM RC390 have been leaked by mistake on their Canadian website. So, here are the Images and details of the bike.
The bike has been made on tubular space frame made from powder-coated steel. Wheel base of the bike is 1,340±15 mm and the dry weight is 147kgs. It has a seat height of 820 mm with a ground clearance is 178.5 mm.
It has the same 373.2cc, single cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid cooled, 4-valve engine, which also powers the Duke 390. It churns out a maximum power of the 43bhp, which gives a power to wieght ratio of 0.29bhp/kg. The engine is mated with 6-speed gearbox, which can be controled using the claw shift lever. Forced oil lubrication with 2 Eaton pumps has been used for proper lubrication of the engine.
It uses 43mm upside down forks at the front, which are similar to RC8 R, while WP shock absorber with light alloy swingarm at rear are taken from the Duke 390. It also has 300mm disk brake with four-pot brake caliper at the front and 230mm disk brake one-pot brake caliper at the rear with ABS as a standard equipment like Duke 390. Clip-on handle bars have been used with 66.5° steering head angle to provide perfect racing machine like posture.
Fairing and wind shield of the bike gives the look of a full size racing bike and its racing split seat pattern goes well with its look. And the underbelly exhaust has been repeated in the bike like other entry level bikes of the company.
Though, there is no news about its Indian arrival, we are expecting it in India at a price of Rs. 2.50 lakh. If Bajaj will launch the bike on above said price it will surely a big hit like its siblings the Duke 200 and 390.
