Kinetic MotoRoyale has launched the MV Agusta F3 RC in India for a jaw-dropping price of Rs 21.99 lakh (ex-showroom, pan India). For the premium of Rs 4 lakh over the standard variant, the RC gets a signature livery as well as a racing kit. This kit includes a lightweight exhaust, aluminium parts, rear cowl, paddock stand and much more! Only 6 units of this uber-exclusive bike will be available for sale in India. So if have just won the lottery, we’d suggest you rush to your nearest MotoRoyale dealership to book one for yourself.
The bike features MV Agusta’s Reparto Corse livery and the number 37 which pays tribute to all the world titles won by the brand. Aside from this, the F3 RC comes with a race kit which includes a lightweight SC-Project exhaust made from titanium and carbon fibre, and a special ECU and power map. This enables its 798cc inline triple motor to make the most out of the aftermarket exhaust, and as a result, belts out 153PS of power at 13,250rpm. That’s 5PS more than the standard F3 800. Peak torque, on the other hand, remains unchanged at 88Nm. Its 6-speed transmission comes paired with a slipper clutch for clutchless up and down shifts.
The bike uses lightweight components like anodized aluminium mirror caps kit, billet aluminum brake and clutch levers, and billet aluminium foot pegs. The rear cowl is also made from fibreglass, further reducing the bike's weight. Consequently, the F3 800 RC weighs in at just 165kg (dry) compared to the 174kg of the standard F3 800. To add to its exclusivity, the Italian bikemaker have also thrown in a dedicated bike cover, a paddock stand and a certificate of origin.
In terms of electronic rider aids, the MV Agusta F3 800 RC comes equipped with four rider modes, ride-by-wire, eight levels of traction control, Bosch ABS system with Race Mode and Rear-wheel Lift-up Mitigation.
That said, there’s no change in its suspension and braking setup. Essentially, it borrows its mechanical components from the standard MV Agusta F3 800. This comprises of 43mm Marzocchi upside-down forks and a Sachs monoshock, both of which are fully adjustable. Putting a leash on the bike are twin 320mm disc paired with Brembo monobloc calipers and a single 220mm rear disc brake, also from Brembo.
Granted, this masterpiece of a bike will cost you a fortune to own, but the fact that it’ll keep you grinning for years will be well worth it.
