After years of testing, Mahindra launched its awaited 300cc motorcycle, Mojo in October this year. While launching, Mahindra confirmed that they are in the process of bringing an ABS version of the motorcycle soon. Now, the test mule of ABS version has been spied by Motorbeam. The latest version of Mahindra’s touring motorcycle will feature the safety norms to be implemented by 2017. As per the rule, ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) and CBS (Combined Braking System) will be compulsory for the two-wheeler having the engine capacity of 125cc or more.
In spy images, standard variant of Mahindra Mojo is equipped with ABS unit, which is connected to a testing kit. The automaker has used dual channel ABS as it claimed earlier. The company has sourced the ABS unit from brand continental while the brakes will be sourced from J-Juan, which is also a part of Mahindra’s Moto3 racing team.

The upcoming Mojo will feature switchable ABS to allow users to switch it on and off as and when required. The bike will get the same 295cc, liquid-cooled engine that is mated to a 6-speed transmission and will deliver 27 bhp of power and 30 Nm of torque.
We can expect the new Mojo to be priced 10,000-20,000 above the existing model. The bike is expected to hit Indian soil by April 2016.
