Mahindra sold 13,197 units in April 2015

Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd. (MTWL) has sold 13,197 units in April 2015, which is a sum of 11,502 units (domestic sales) and 1695 units (exports).
Mahindra Centuro series and Gusto are the crowd pullers for the company. These products have helped Mahindra to climb a few stairs up in the market. The latest launch by the company was Gusto HX that boasts of first-in-class features like adjustable seat height, large tubeless tyres, LED pilot lamps and Quick storage.
Mahindra Gusto is a premium scooter available in three variants, out of which, HX is a mid variant. It is propelled by a 109.6cc, air-cooled engine that produces a maximum power of 8bhp and peak torque of 9Nm. The manufacturer claims that the scooter returns 63kmpl of mileage.
The other star product of the company is Mahindra Centuro that offers the most advance features like Remote flip key, Anti-theft alarm with engine immobilizer, find me lamps, guide lamps and digital instrument cluster. It also has a more affordable variant christened as Centuro Rockstar, which houses some of these amazing features. The bike offers an exceptional mileage of 85.4kmpl.
Mahindra is gradually getting under the skin of the people and soon it will establish a proper empire of its own in the country.
